Marketing Specialist

Bernacki & Associates is seeking multiple highly motivated and experienced Marketing Specialists to join our team in Chicago, Illinois.


  • Conduct market research to develop and lead Bernacki’s culturally significant, historic marketing campaign.
  • Seek network opportunities for Bernacki through the American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works, museums, antique and art dealers, private collectors, designers, insurance claims specialists, and art-owners.
  • Plan, organize and participate in promotional events for the company and associated non-profit and business associations.
  • Implement the company’s advertising needs.
  • Determine the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and marketing strategies.
  • Research, create, and maintain/update database of potential business leads.
  • Engage in social media announcements and updates in English and Polish.
  • Design the company’s promotional materials in print and online.
  • Produce press releases for the company and associated non-profit organizations and design promotional materials.
  • Perform full photographic documentation of all conservation/restoration work.
  • Take museum standard detailed photographs of all objects before, during, and after restoration.
  • Responsible for photo documentation of conservation projects.
  • Liaise with the company’s IT vendor to ensure that the office’s IT systems are operating properly.

Job Requirements

  • Employer requires a Bachelor’s degree in History, Music, Photography, Fine Arts, or related and 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Academic or work experience must have included:
    • Leading marketing strategies and direction;
    • Design, including photographs, descriptions, and drawings, for exhibits at marketing events;
    • Coordinating with third party organizations regarding exhibit and marketing design;
    • Creating and designing websites, brochures, posters, international boards, mailers, invitations, program books, and banners; and
    • Leading promotional campaigns.
